Training Isn’t a Seminar: Build Repeatable Playbooks

Training that lives in someone’s head is not training. It’s tribal knowledge.

Tribal knowledge is fragile:

  • It leaves when people leave.
  • It changes based on mood.
  • It’s hard to scale.

Playbooks create repeatability.

What a playbook is

A playbook is not a binder. It’s:

  • The steps
  • The standard
  • The checklists
  • The examples
  • The minimum acceptable outcome

If you want consistent performance, you need consistent training assets.

What to do this week

  • Pick one process that causes the most rework.
  • Write a one-page playbook for it.
  • Train it, test it, and revise it weekly for a month.
